Toyota 70 Series 4c Key Programming

Starting state: All doors closed. Key not in the key cylinder

Insert already registered master key in the cylinder

                  WITHIN 15 SECONDS

Turn the ignition switch from LOCK to ON five times (end ON)

                   WITHIN 15 SECONDS

Open and Close the driver’s door once

                     WITHIN 20 SECONDS

Open and Close the driver’s door a further five times (end closed)

                       WITHIN 10 SECONDS

Remove the master key

                      WITHIN 10 SECONDS

Insert key to be registered in key cylinder

                       WITHIN 20 SECONDS

Turn the key from LOCK to ON

Keep the ignition switch turned ON for at least 60 seconds

Remove the key

Open and Close the driver’s door to end

Wish to register another key?

Repeat last 5 steps all within 10 seconds of each other

Notes:
Key in ignition, door sensor  and interior light all need to be working
